Create email campaigns with impact

We are looking for an Email Marketeer to join our rapidly growing team as we expand across Europe. Sensorfact is a sustainability start-up, selected by Techleap’s Rise Program for battling climate change. We have a passionate, entrepreneurial and international team with high ambitions – and we cannot wait to welcome you!

The Challenge

Our growth so far has come primarily from a successful outbound sales strategy. Now, our goal is to accelerate with a comprehensive inbound lead generation program. We are establishing a best-in-class marketing function that is supported by a healthy budget, software & tooling and our management team. As our Email Marketeer you will play an essential role in helping us become a market leader. Your remit covers:

  • Create and execute inspiring and commercially interesting (direct) email marketing campaigns based on our proposition and marketing calendar
  • Create and optimize email templates to build flows and follow-up actions for specific target audiences and segments
  • Optimize (automated) campaigns and internal processes
  • Analyze the campaigns’ performance by web statistics and presenting the insights to the team to translate it into actions
  • Be the specialist with a clear vision on email and online marketing, to increase the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns
  • Optimization of the current process and identifying new, creative (direct) email campaigns
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, qualified and tone of voice, and optimized for search and social promotion
  • Accountable for the performance of key metrics including open rate, click rate, conversion rate and Marketing Qualified Leads from your email campaigns
  • Be up to date on trends and developments in email marketing
  • Play a senior role in creating a high-performance marketing machine

What you bring

  • 2 to 6 years of working experience in email marketing in a B2B environment
  • A combination of analytical and creative skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in analysing traffic and performance data using Google Analytics to gain insights and facilitate data-driven decisions (experience with Hubspot (or similar CRM) is a plus)
  • Near native English writing and communication skills
  • And most importantly, your personality! You love what you do and you value energy, positivity and creativity

What we offer

A full time position (32-40hrs), money, pension, lunches, working from home, team activities, training budget – the usual. We share an open, data-driven, and transparent company culture, where you will become part of a tight-knit team. Our office is located in the center of Utrecht, a short walk from the central station. We’ll provide you with an NS-business card or cover your travel expenses to get there. We know how incredibly important it is to have the right tools. Any hardware or software you need to get your job done: great monitor, the best laptop, standing desk – you’ve got it.
